A nonviolent, internet-related threat arose in connection with Volume 8: To America — Season One.
Each of us is sovereign, and the sovereign territory of another ought to be respected. When an intrusion occurs, we must decide how to respond—and what continued engagement would cost.
We anticipated the possibility of situations like this from the beginning. Anticipating a risk, however, is different from confronting its particular circumstances. This situation has been resolved, though the outcome is not the one we would have wanted for this season.
We will not continue Season One of Volume 8: To America at this time. There will be no closing installment. Its short life, and the absence of that closing, will stand as part of its message.
Our studies in ontology and game theory and related topics will continue, outside this season’s title and context.
For now, we are keeping identifying details private and choosing to disengage. The discussions in Season Two of the original Intend to Relate podcast—concerning frustration, anger, and their relationship to wolf behavior and violence—remain relevant to the broader questions raised here.
Our position is straightforward: respect boundaries, avoid escalating hostile encounters, and use appropriate reporting channels when circumstances warrant.
The YouTube channel was temporarily taken down. We have brought it back up now.
We are still processing this. More will follow as appropriate.
