The Intend to Relate Podcast | Special Teaser Episode (Volume 9)
To God: A Special Teaser
An Imaginary Divine Archetype Relationship Negotiation
He set the speed of light. Z’jip would still like to agree on a time to talk.
This special teaser looks ahead to Volume Nine: To God through an imaginary divine archetype relationship negotiation. Meet Z’jip: a fictionalized character, explicitly distinct from the author, L’republique. He has grown bored with logic in his god roster and decided to start swiping again.
Welcome to Godifyr, the fictional god-archetype dating app. Swipe. Match. Chat now.
What begins as a playful encounter with divine profiles becomes a negotiation about time, judgment, boundaries, and the terms of relating. Then, near the end, Z’jip asks about the pups—and the conversation turns toward love, heartbreak, and what remains.
The God Roster
The Divine Feminine goes straight to the muse roster. The Divine Switch leaves the choices to Z’jip: lead or follow, rules or flexibility. When he asks what the Switch actually wants, the answer is another question: "What would you like me to want?"
The Divine Submissive brings a situation he cannot process. Then comes the Divine Dominant:
Rules. Literature. I personally set the speed of light.
That is a profile worth discussing. But "Let's chat now" does not settle whether now is a good time for Z’jip.
A Divine Match, Not Automatic Access
Z’jip explains that he was generating options for his god roster, not making himself immediately available. He generally does not allow strangers to put demands on his time.
He proposes a Seven-Day Connection Pact or a Phone Call Protocol Agreement: set a specific time, then have a call.
The Divine Dominant offers a beginning: text whenever you want, start with seven days, and keep connecting for as long as you want.
No demand for your time.
The exchange brings a familiar relational question into an unfamiliar setting: what are we actually offering each other, and when?
Recognition Is Not a Transfer of Power
Z’jip wants a clear chain of command. In this particular imagined relationship, he asks for a monogamous, one-on-one arrangement. No "poly-God situationships."
He also draws a distinction between recognizing the Divine Dominant and giving away his own authority:
You're the dominant. That's a fact, not power I'm transferring to you.
The reply accepts that distinction. Z’jip keeps his judgment. The same rules apply, with no special exemption.
The point of this exchange is not that every relationship must take the same form. These are the terms being discussed by these characters. Within their negotiation, acknowledging the other's position does not require surrendering one's mind.
No Special Exemption to No
Z’jip's final test is deliberately irreverent:
If I said we're not doing any butt stuff, what would you say to that?
The answer is equally direct:
Then we're not doing any butt stuff.
The humor leads to an unambiguous boundary. Ethical instrumentalism is invoked, and both characters assent. The Divine Dominant does not claim an exemption from the limit Z’jip has stated.
Then the conversation returns to its cosmic scale:
"You reply fast."
"I set the speed of light. You set your notifications."
Putting It in Writing
Z’jip puts the understanding in writing—and immediately has an amendment in mind. There is still a goddess on his roster. He would like a Hall Pass Negotiation Process Amendment.
The answer is no. The Divine Dominant invokes the "true MVP" and suggests that, in a certain way, all good rosters lead back to him. Z’jip hears the words but cannot quite process them.
Next comes an Ending Addendum, which Z’jip includes as a standard term to mitigate breakup harm. Again, the Divine Dominant says no: their new Assention is just beginning, and some archetypal god personalities say it never ends.
These are turns in an imaginary divine negotiation, not instructions to prohibit endings in human relationships. They bring the story to the last question on Z’jip's page.
The Last Question: The Pups
Were they loved? Are they being loved now? Or is it just all love?
The Divine Dominant answers by questioning how much the word love can hold. Within the story, he speaks of a preferred language with a unique word and a unique meaning of love, rather than one expression that captures every relationship in the same way.
The pups were loved. But the question about now receives a more particular answer:
The love between the three of y'all is an objective, fulfilled, and eternal truth.
After the negotiation, the jokes, and the questions, Z’jip answers:
I assent.
A New Paradigm for Heartbreak
The teaser closes with a proposition:
The relationship may end in time. The fulfilled relationship is an objective truth forever.
Fulfilled objective truths.
That is the perspective the story invites us to consider: the ending of a relationship in time need not erase the truth of the love that was fulfilled within it.
The final movement is not another demand for access, another amendment, or another attempt to hold the other in place. It is an assent to the significance of a particular love.
From a god roster to a question about the pups. From negotiating a beginning to considering what remains beyond an ending.
A glimpse toward Volume Nine: To God.

00:37 | Meet Z’jip: A Preview of To God
Before season 2 begins, here's a special teaser looking ahead to volume 9, To God, Forthcoming. This is an imaginary divine archetype relationship negotiation. Meet Z’jip, a fictionalized character, not the same person as the author, L’republique.
Z’jip was growing up. He'd gotten bored with logic in his god roster. So he decided to start swiping again.
00:58 | Godifyr and the Divine Profiles
Godifyr, the god archetype dating app, swipe, match, chat now, the divine feminine.
Nope, straight to the muse roster.
The divine switch.
Either way, do you lead or follow?
Either. Your choice.
Rules or flexibility?
Either. Your choice.
What do you actually want?
What would you like me to want?
The divine submissive.
I need you.
Are you pregnant?
Yes.
Where's your husband?
There is no husband.
I can't process that.
01:24 | The Divine Dominant
The divine dominant.
Rules. Literature. I personally set the speed of light.
Let's chat now.
01:32 | Time and the Seven-Day Connection
This isn't a good time for me right now. I was just generating some options for the God roster. I generally don't allow strangers to put demands on my time.
We could do a seven-day connection pact, or a phone call protocol agreement. We set a specific time, then have a call.
Text me whenever you want. We'll start with your seven days and keep connecting for as long as you want. No demand for your time.
01:55 | Chain of Command, Judgment, and Power
First rule, I need a clear chain of command. This is a monogamous one-on-one thing. I'm not doing poly-God situationships.
Accepted.
And there is no power exchange. I don't really bow down or anything. You're the dominant. That's a fact, not power I'm transferring to you.
Agreed. You keep your judgment.
Same rules for me as for everyone. No special exemption.
Same rules.
Agreed.
02:18 | Humor, Justice, and the Boundary Test
Final test. Humor and justice. If I said we're not doing any butt stuff, what would you say to that?
Then we're not doing any butt stuff.
Ethical instrumentalists generally avoid breaking that rule.
Generally, no exceptions to no.
I assent.
I assent.
02:36 | The Speed of Light and Your Notifications
You reply fast.
I set the speed of light. You set your notifications.
02:39 | Putting It in Writing: The Hall Pass
Z’jip puts it in writing.
First, I want a Hall Pass Negotiation Process Amendment.
With the devil?
No. The goddess is sitting on my roster, biting her lip and eyeing me all the time.
Unfortunately, no. It's not actually possible to dethrone what you've recognized as your true MVP. Same rules apply to everybody. In a certain way, you could say that, at the end of the day, all good rosters lead back to me, okay?
I hear the words, but I can't process that.
03:06 | The Ending Addendum
So, ending addendum. I put that on there as a standard term, too. Mitigate breakup harm.
No. Our new Assention is just beginning.
Plus, some archetypal god personalities say that it never ends, which leads to my last one, there at the bottom.
03:21 | The Last Question: The Pups
One question. You have to answer it.
I know where you're going.
The pups. Were they loved? Are they being loved now? Or is it just all love?
In English, there is the word love. Greek has more than one word. You translate that way. You can understand the words I'm about to say, but I created all the languages and all the love languages.
In my preferred language, I have a unique word, a unique meaning of love. For each and every one of, so the pups, they were loved. It's all love kind of, but the English word doesn't quite get that one right. As for whether they are being loved now, what I can tell you is this.
The love between the three of y'all is an objective, fulfilled, and eternal truth.
I assent.
04:09 | A New Paradigm for Heartbreak
A new paradigm for heartbreak. The relationship may end in time. The fulfilled relationship is an objective truth forever. Fulfilled objective truths.
